INSTRUCTION TO AUTHOR(S)

Submission:

Prospective authors are encouraged to submit original manuscripts online, which are not presently under consideration at another journal, in a format defined in the author guidelines. Submitted manuscripts are pre-screened by plagiarism detection software both before and after blind peer review, prior to acceptance. All papers are peer-reviewed before publication. After acceptance, the authors are instructed to format the accepted paper following the guidelines from the journal paper template depicted in one of the sections of this document. Please send the paper in MS Word 97-2003 (or higher) format using the following e-mail address: editorjcst@unidel.edu.ng

All articles must be written in good English. Both UK English and US English are accepted but this must be consistent throughout the manuscript.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, and in other to confirm adherence to the journal format, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration
The submission file is in Microsoft Word document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font (Times New Roman); employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the author Guidelines,

JCST welcomes submissions (which are original research works) in all areas of Computing, Physical Science, Engineering and Life Sciences from researchers worldwide. JCST publishes original research,

Title page

Please include the following information on the title page:

Title Page Element	Description
Title	Please provide a concise and specific title that clearly reflects the content of the article. Keep the title brief (<= 18 words), descriptive, and comprehensible to a broad scientific audience. Avoid numbers, acronyms, abbreviations and punctuation
Author Line	Include full names of all authors in the order intended for publication. For ease of correspondence, use asterisks (*) to designate co-corresponding authors
Author Affiliations	Include, in this order, department/ institution, city, country Use superscripts to match authors with institutions. Multiple affiliations are allowed.
Corresponding Author	Include the name, complete address, phone number, and email address of the author(s) to whom correspondence and proofs should be sent. Note that corresponding authors' email addresses will be published in the article footnotes.
Keywords	Authors should supply up to five relevant keywords that describe the subject of their article. These will improve the visibility of your article.

Article submission and processing charges

Authors are required to pay a review fee of NGN 5, 000 upon submission of manuscript and NGN 35, 000 upon acceptance of manuscript. The authors must format the paper according to the JCST template and the recommended presentation style.

Payments:

Authors can make transfer directly using mobile, internet banking system or make payment directly to the bank.

Manuscripts submitted to the Editor-in-Chief may be accompanied with evidence of payment (that is, bank teller or screen shot).
